Stadtökonomie

In this course, we study economic factors that determine the location of households and firms. We also take a look at theories which explain the creation of cities. We discuss neoclassical models of land usage and findings concerning the creation of cities and their evolution to mega cities. The course builds on concepts from economic geography, traffic and transport.
